In response to the desire for enhanced road presence, Urban Automotive, a UK-based car customization studio, has introduced the Urban Widetrack package for the Land Rover Defender 130. Priced at £15,549 ($19,700), this comprehensive styling program elevates the iconic Defender with a range of upgrades and add-ons, aimed at amplifying its visual appeal.
The Urban Widetrack package accentuates the Defender 130’s rugged charm with a selection of eye-catching enhancements. Notable features include signature double high-power LED light pods positioned on the roof, square high lower LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), a rear roof spoiler, and striking 22-inch alloy wheels. These enhancements serve to enhance the Defender’s already distinctive presence on the road.
New additions to Urban’s wheel lineup include the Ballistic WX4 rims, available at £2,520 ($3,200) for a set of four (excluding tires and pressure monitoring sensors). Customers can opt for wheels with the Tire-Pressure Monitor System installed at an additional cost of £2,640 ($3,340). Tire options, ranging from £3,960 ($5,013) to £4,200 ($5,317), offer a choice between Geolander and BF Goodrich tires, with pricing varying based on the selected brand and configuration.
The Urban Widetrack package also includes a range of exterior enhancements, such as ‘Urban’ script on the hood, an extended Widetrack wheel arch set, hood pods and side vents, Black Shadow-colored side steps, mudflaps, wheel covers, and Urban badges. For additional customization, customers can opt for a carbon fiber hood, Widetrack canards, smoked rear lights, a sport performance exhaust by Milltek, Recaro CS seats with carbon backing, and leather finishes for the interior.
